Here’s the manufacturers blurb:
“Get ready to transform your living room into a cinema with the amazing pro projector! This high-tech projector can bring your favourite movies and TV shows to life with its 200 ANSI Lumens image brightness and 1280 x 720 native resolution. The projector is equipped with Bluetooth, USB, FireWire, and HDMI Standard connectivity options, making it compatible with most devices. It’s a portable device that runs on Android 11 and features dual wifi, All Winner H713, and BT5.0. It is perfect for movie nights, gaming sessions, or even business presentations. The projector is a stereo type model. Compatible with Android operating systems, this home cinema projector is a must-have for any entertainment lover”
.
DeadAVstore would think that any projector offering all those options, for under £500, would be rubbish. However, gone are the days of spending hundreds of pounds on special replacement lamps, or having your projector serviced every 6 months. Gone are the days of even a basic projector costing £1800+. China seems to have managed to create something that’s small, and really good - for a fraction of the price of a “proper” projector. You can stream your android phone to this projector, plug your laptop into it, send it stuff via bluetooth and connect it to wifi, and best still - it has many built in apps (like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Youtube, etc) so you can use this thing as a portable home cinema. It’s crazy just how good this thing is.
.
Of course, this isn’t a £3000 Sony projector - and it doesn’t claim to be. Of course it isn’t as good, and you can’t use it in broad daylight to show a 200” image in a field - but we’ve tested these in the dark, and they’re amazing. Easily achieve screen sizes of 100-150” with superb picture quality, and in daylight, the screen size can be reduced to still give a perfectly good image. It even has built in sound, which is as good as some projectors at much higher prices. For the price, I don’t think anyone could knock these little projectors.
.
Projector operates on 240v, and sometimes will come with an adapter to use with a UK socket. It’s small, and can either be put onto a desk or table, or wall mounted - but this will require a bracket (not supplied). It comes with a remote control, and instruction booklet. It can be used outside, but will still require a mains socket, and must not get cold, wet or damp. You will require a projection screen (or white wall or white sheet / surface) to project onto. Quality will be higher if using a proper projection screen, but is still great on a white wall.
.
Also available : Replacement remote control.
