Philips N1700 / N1502 Head Drum Belt
A common failure point of the Head not spinning at the correct speed, or at all (if the belt is perished) is the failure of the original drive belt. Changing this belt is easy for a skilled person, or challenging (with lots of swearing) for a beginner. These are 6mm belts, not the smaller 4 / 5mm aftermarket belts, which don’t fit properly, or run smoothly. We have used several of these, with excellent results. The price is for one belt.
We offer a fitting service for these if you send us your machine. Please enquire for details.
